The home shown combines the Coastal Tidewater look with that of a late 19th Century Victorian. The style is unique to the American Southeastern Seaboard. The original form of the style is thought to have developed in Cajun Louisiana as a wetland plantation house but lends itself well to a beachfront vacation home. With long rambling porches parallel to the shore and ornamental gazebos providing shaded havens from the southern sun, the style lends itself to many southern coastal properties. A recreation of an American "Queen Anne". Characterized by multi-sided towers, numerous gables, dormers and fanciful gingerbread trim.
